As the entire world lives in unprecedented times, so much is unreal, unfathomable, more like a bad dream we are gasping to wake up to reality from. In this body of work, Ayanda Nkosi reflects a character and atmosphere that allows us to take a fresh deep breath and remember the life and hope that still lives in us and surrounds us brightly, as she lightly provokes a brightness in us through her shockingly colourful works.
